Haldi's Kitchen
Here, home cooking and street food meet in the heart of Feskekôrka. The restaurant is named after Ebbe Hagard's wife, Haldis, who came from Bergen in Norway. In the middle of the lively and warm market square, enticing aromas spread and the homely rustle of pots fills the air. Here, well-prepared home cooking is served with care, combined with modern flavors and influences. At Haldis Kök, genuine food enjoyment and community are at the center.

History of Haldis
When Feskekörka reopened, we wanted to create something with both soul and sharpness. A kitchen with a homebody, the sea and attitude. The name? Haldis – after Ebbe Hagard’s wife, PhD Haldis Meinich Jansen. She was from Bergen but had her heart in Bohuslän, where with a sharp tongue and an open heart she stood as a stool for both storms and chaos. A name that contains both stone and fate – hallr and dis – and which became the symbol for our idea of food with a backbone. Here there is life in the hatch, straightforward seasoning and room for everyone. Haldis is our tribute to the folk joy of food, to fishing, to craftsmanship – and to all the women who carried both home and history.
